Job summary

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated Vehicle Technician team for a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. You will ensure operational readiness, safety and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms, working in an autonomous team with an outcomes-based package.

Responsibilities include diagnostic inspections, servicing and repairs, fleet upgrades and quality assurance, with strict adherence to safety policies. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• BPSS clearance sponsorship provided by employer
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet experience desirable)
• Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking
• Personal protective equipment: own coveralls and safety footwear

Job description

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. Working as part of an autonomous E-ppl team under an outcomes-based package of work, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Servicing: Carry out diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated vehicle platforms
• Rectification & Prep: Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and full compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections
• Fleet Upgrades: Bring vehicles up to required operational standards
• Quality Assurance: Execute reworks and rectify defects identified during examination stages
• Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Must be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks. E-ppl will fully sponsor and manage this process
• Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet experience is highly desirable)
• Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking
• PPE: Ability to provide your own standard coveralls and safety footwear

Benefits

• Competitive Pay: £19.00 per hour
• Working Pattern: 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for overtime and shift variations as needed
• Daily Allowance: £25.00 tax-free per day to cover expenses and meals (location-dependent)
• Hotel Lodging: Fully funded hotel accommodation provided (location-dependent)
• Travel Expense: 45p per mile mileage allowance, calculated from your location (capped up to the Evo-to-Stockport route)
