Description of the Job

The ideal applicant will work with clients and coworkers to set deadlines for project completion while performing diagnostic tests with manual tools and specialised diagnostic equipment to repair, maintain, inspect, and install parts. The chosen applicant will:

• Examine the car’s engine and mechanical and electrical parts to provide an accurate and prompt diagnosis.
• To perform diagnostic tests, use specialised diagnostic equipment.
  Perform regular maintenance, such as lubricating parts and changing fluids.
• Fitting parts, such as the engine, gearbox, and brake pads
• Collaborate with coworkers and/or clients to identify potential causes of equipment malfunctions and specify what needs to be fixed.
• To guarantee appropriate maintenance, do routine inspections and maintenance on operational machinery.
• Fix problems by replacing or repairing damaged or malfunctioning elements. such as tyre changes, punctures and leaks
• Carry out additional ad hoc tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

• The ideal applicant will be able to exhibit the following abilities:
• Demonstrate your experience working as a car technician.
• It is preferable to have relevant training or qualifications.
• A thorough understanding of the mechanical parts of cars
• Practical familiarity with car diagnostic systems
• Capacity to operate a variety of tools and heavy machinery, such as ramps and lifts
• Effective, succinct, and clear communication abilities in English
• A complete UK driver’s license is preferred.
