Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Level 3 Vehicle Technician to transition from hands-on work into an instructor role based in Luton. You will deliver technical vehicle maintenance training, guiding learners in both online and workshop settings.

The role includes developing course content, incorporating new technologies, and completing funded teaching qualifications with full training support. Monday–Friday, 8:30–17:30, with a generous package including car allowance and progression

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent required.
• Experience delivering technical training is advantageous.
• Full training on teaching methods and funded qualifications provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Vehicle Maintenance Training to learners.
• Complete curriculum both virtually and in the workshop.
• Develop course content and incorporate new technologies.
• Receive full teaching training and funded qualification courses.
• Maintain a structured training environment Monday to Friday, 8:30–5:30.

Are you a Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician or similar, looking to take a step away from hands on work, get involved with training the next generation of technicians for one of the largest international automotive learning and development companies based in the UK, where you will receive comprehensive training and support to directly impact future technicians?

This varied role will see you involved in the daily delivery of technical training in vehicle maintenance, adhering to curriculum guidelines and creating a secure training setting both online and in the workshop. You will also contribute to course enhancement, trainee assessments and incorporating the latest technologies to aid the teaching process. You will receive full training and qualification investment to enable you to fulfil the role.

This role would suit a Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician or similar, looking to get off the tools, gain instructor qualifications and directly impact the next generation of dealership technicians.
