Location: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days on site per week

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author – Workshop Information to support the delivery of high-quality Aftersales documentation for a global retailer network. This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians or master technicians to apply their practical knowledge in a technical authorship position, ensuring that complex vehicle systems and repair processes are clearly documented for service teams worldwide.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, concise, and technically accurate Workshop Information that enables service technicians to carry out maintenance and repairs effectively. Working closely with engineering and aftersales teams, you will ensure that all content is aligned with the latest specifications and released in line with new product and model year timing plans.
This contract offers a unique chance to transition from the workshop into a Technical Author – Workshop Information role, applying your practical expertise to create documentation that supports technicians globally.
Please note, this role is deemed Outside of IR35 – you will be operating as a Limited Company Contractor.
