Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

We are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our family-run business, Skoda Leeds.

Basic salary of £25,480 plus an on-target bonus of up to £7,000, depending on your skill and experience levels. We offer a salary package suitable for Technicians at all stages of their career. Whether you are a qualified Master Technician with a franchised retailer or a mechanic at an independent garage, come and talk to us. We want to help you progress in your career!

Working hours are Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays.

About You

Your duties will depend on your experience and training. As a skilled Technician/Mechanic, you will be able to undertake both minor and major mechanical faults, including engine repairs, and return vehicles to manufacturer specifications and standards.

We welcome applications from NVQ Level 3 trained Technicians or equivalent. Experience in a busy volume franchised dealer environment is advantageous but not essential if you currently work at an independent garage or dealer. Knowledge of the Skoda/VW brand is a plus but not required.

You will need a Full UK driver’s license and your own tools.

What You Need to Succeed

• Drive, passion, and enthusiasm to succeed.
• Confidence and capability in using workshop equipment safely.
• At least NVQ Level 3 training with relevant work experience.
• MOT Tester qualification is preferred.
• Experience in used car preparation.
