Our Park Royal depot is looking for a Vehicle Technician to work alternating early/late shifts.

Are you ‘Made for us’? Excellent! Because we’re currently looking for talent. You’ll ensure that the best trucks are back on the road as fast as possible when they require maintenance. You’ll use the most advanced workshop systems on trucks with state-of-the-art technology. If you enjoy taking on responsibility, then we’ll give you the freedom to perform diagnostics and to decide how to carry out maintenance and repairs on trucks. You’ll be part of a great team with friendly colleagues.

This is what you’ll be doing:

• Responsibility for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and selecting appropriate repair techniques.
• Working independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components.
• Carrying out inspections (MOT, tachograph, etc.).
• Providing support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• Performing final checks on completed work.

This is what we’re looking for:

• Secondary vocational education completed.
• Broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products.
• Extensive experience in repairing and maintaining trucks, components, and related vehicles.
• Familiarity with developments in the automotive industry.

You will need to provide your own toolkit and possess a valid driving license (preferably HGV, but not essential).

Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 06:00-14:30, alternating with Monday to Friday, 14:30-22:00.
