An established automotive centre in the St Albans region is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles. • Up to £42,000 OTE with a weekly bonus for completing an average of 10 vehicles per day

The Role

• Perform detailed inspections and maintenance on new vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Identify and report wear, defects, or parts requiring replacement
• Communicate technical findings when needed, maintaining professionalism with colleagues and clients
• Support a collaborative workshop culture with a focus on efficiency and quality
• Assist fellow technicians and promote knowledge sharing within the team
  
  

About You

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Solid understanding of vehicle safety and inspection protocols
• Valid UK driving licence required
  
  

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch). No weekend work unless exceptional demand arises.
