Job summary

PDI / Service Technician Bedford role recruiting for an experienced PDI Technician, Service Technician, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy dealership in Bedford. You must have prior technician or mechanic experience, hold a recognised Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

Salary up to £38,997 depending on experience + Bonus. 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota. Ref: 31365.

Qualifications

• Must have previous Technician/Mechanic experience.
• Must hold a recognised Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on customer and fleet vehicles.
• Complete routine servicing including oil and filter changes.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure they are safe and ready for customer delivery.
• Complete digital job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
• Follow workshop processes and maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Use digital workshop systems and iPads as part of the repair and inspection process.
