Job summary

Halfords is hiring for a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic at our Fusion centre. You will be skilled in servicing and repair work and able to perform clutches, timing belt changes and diagnostics across brakes, steering, suspension and electrics.

We offer on-target earnings up to £41,100, with a base of £32,000–£34,000 and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £7,100 per year. The role is five days a week (closed Sundays) with excellent benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work across brakes, steering and suspension, engine and more.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles.
• Carry out diagnostics and fault finding.
• Perform complex repairs (clutches, timing belts, electrics).
