Vehicle Technician - Nights - Hamilton
Hours: (42) Monday - Thursday 5:00pm - 4:00am
Basic: up to £43k
Ref: 27414

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's main dealership in Hamilton. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  3. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  4. Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  5. Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area
  7. Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
  1. Experience as a vehicle technician and/or a relevant and up-to-date qualification
  2. MOT qualification is a huge bonus
  3. Great pride in your work
  4. Incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot
  5. Full valid UK driving licence
  6. A stocked toolbox that you can use for work
