Job summary

Halfords Garage Services in Cambridge is seeking a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Fusion Centre. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and conduct a wide range of maintenance and repairs, prioritising safety and quality to deliver a first-class customer experience.

We offer on-target earnings up to £46,700, with a base salary of £35,000–£40,000 and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,700 per year.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent is required.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 points is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ensure high quality work and customer-focused service.
