Job summary

Halfords, the UK’s leading automotive service, maintenance and repair business, is looking for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join the team. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and undertake a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work to keep cars safe on the road.

We offer excellent training, development opportunities and an uncapped bonus scheme. A full UK driving licence and Level 3 qualification are required to apply.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Must have a full driver’s licence with no more than 9 points

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete maintenance/repair work
• From diagnostics & repairs to routine services, ensure high quality workmanship
