Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is recruiting in Guildford for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester within a reputable automotive dealer group. The role offers a competitive £35,000 basic salary with realistic OTE up to £41,000 and a stable, full-time position.

You will perform MOT tests, carry out inspections, and ensure safety and quality standards while communicating findings to customers and colleagues. Training and development opportunities are available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester with relevant certification.
• Full valid UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests in compliance with legal standards and dealership procedures.
• Carry out thorough and accurate inspections within designated timeframes.
• Ensure compliance with workshop safety and quality standards.
• Communicate findings clearly to colleagues and customers when necessary.
• Assist with additional workshop duties to support smooth operations.
