Job description

Vehicle Technician

Basic Salary: Up to £33k + Bonus OTE - £38k

Location: Cardiff (Glamorgan)

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Additional: 2 in 4 Saturday mornings at time and half o/t


We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our clients' modern Bodyshop, based in Cardiff (Glamorgan). You will need a positive can-do attitude and be hard working, efficient and have great housekeeping. You will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role and an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification; an MOT License is desirable but not essential.


Role responsibilities:

  1. Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs
  2. Carry out all engine repairs in line with approved methods
  3. Inspect vehicle components to assess wear, damage, or required replacements
  4. Plan and organise time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines
  5. Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required
  6. Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  7. Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
  8. Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure a smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
