Job summary

Halfords Group PLC in Castleford, West Yorkshire, is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Autocentres team. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and carry out a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work to ensure high safety and quality.

This full‑time role offers a base salary up to £36k with an uncapped monthly bonus, on‑target earnings up to £42,800, and a strong benefits package including generous leave and staff discounts.

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• MOT Testing Licence required to DVSA standards.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 penalty points.

Skills and experience

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
