Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You will carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform a wide range of maintenance and repair work, from advanced diagnostics to routine services, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 9 points.

Job description

• On-target earnings up to £45,410
• Comprising a base salary of £35,000 - £38,710
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,700 per year.
• 5 days a week (closed on Sunday's)

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

Skills and experience

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
