We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester position in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

The successful Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will benefit from:

• Competitive basic salary of up to £37,500 per year,
• With working hours from 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, with no weekends required. This provides a balanced work-life environment.
• Exposure to both vehicle servicing and MOT testing within a busy workshop, allowing to diversify your skillset and work on a range of vehicle makes and models.

Duties for the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester include:

• Conducting MOT inspections to ensure vehicles meet legal requirements and safety standards,
• Performing vehicle servicing and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines,
• Diagnosing complex automotive issues accurately, and maintaining comprehensive service records,
• Delivering excellent customer service by clearly communicating repair details is a key aspect of the role.

The ideal Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will possess:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, with a full MOT Tester qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics is essential, alongside the ability to work efficiently independently and within a team.
