Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester – Guildford, Surrey

- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Basic + OTE up to £45,000
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
- Saturdays: Rota basis, paid at time and a half

As a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained, repaired, and tested to the highest standards. You’ll carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations and handle a wide range of mechanical and diagnostic tasks within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform Class 4 MOT Tests to DVSA standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of makes and models
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
- Complete repairs including engine, suspension, brake, and exhaust work
- Use diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues accurately
- Maintain detailed records of all work carried out
- Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For:

- Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician (or equivalent)
- Current MOT Tester Licence (Class 4) – essential
- A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
