• Experience with MOT Tests and general vehicle repairs.
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical systems.
• Ability to maintain records and complete job cards accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT Tests on vehicles.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical faults.
• Perform inspections and maintain vehicles to DVSA standards.
• Complete maintenance records and associated paperwork.
• Rebuild vehicle components using technical guides.

Rates: £22 - £24 p/h experience depending

Contract: Freelance / Outside IR35

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out MOT Tests
• Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and system faults
• Inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and reliability to DVSA standards
• Complete job cards, maintenance records, and associated paperwork to a high standard
• Stripping down and rebuilding vehicle components using technical guides
• Replacing engines, transmissions, and other key systems
• Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance is key within the Vehicle Technician role
• Assisting in general workshop duties when needed
