Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Reading facility, you will:

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical & mechanical issues using factory-level diagnostic software and scanners.
• Perform diverse repairs, ranging from routine servicing to intricate mechanical component replacements.
• Follow structured manufacturer guidelines to guarantee precise, safety-first workmanship on every job.
• Maintain digital job records while collaborating with a supportive network of senior master technicians.

What You Need

• Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent). A solid background in a fast-fit centre, auto repair shop, independent garage, or MOT station. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
• Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for everyday workshop tasks. Strong team mindset, attention to detail, and a drive to master modern vehicle tech.

Situated in Reading, our facility offers a smooth daily commute for technicians travelling from Wokingham, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Slough, Newbury, Henley-on-Thames, and surrounding Berkshire communities.
