Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Oswestry is recruiting a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician for the Oswestry Workshop on a permanent contract. The role covers full-time hours (39.5h/week) with a rotating shift and optional Saturdays. Salary starts at £40,906 with potential to earn up to £55k including overtime.

You will diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles, using your own toolkit and accessing specialist workshop tooling. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Advanced Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle.
• Own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Experience working on a wide range of vehicles, e.g., LCV.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance using own toolkit.
• Access specialist tooling in modern workshops for maintenance and repairs.
• Work on a variety of makes and models including traditional fuel and electric fleet.
