Vehicle Technician (Hybrid Fleet)

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM - No Weekends!
  • Circa GBP37k Basic Salary

  • Small team in a friendly workshop

Monday Matters Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading fleet management company based in Gravesend, Kent. Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Vehicle Technician to join their team and maintain a modern fleet of hybrid-only vehicles. This is a great opportunity for someone who values innovation, sustainability, and high service standards.

Vehicle Technician Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of hybrid vehicles

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment

  • Conduct safety checks and prepare vehicles for MOTs, ensuring compliance with DVSA standards

  • Accurately complete service records and job documentation

  • Work collaboratively with other technicians in a fully equipped, professional workshop

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

  • Previous experience working with hybrid or electric vehicles (preferred but not essential; training will be provided)

  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

  • Full UK driving licence

  • A methodical, safety-first approach and willingness to learn new technologies
