Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Uttoxeter is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a family-run independent service centre. You will service and repair a wide range of vehicles, focusing on quality and safety in a supportive environment.

The role offers a Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm schedule with no weekends, opportunities to work on hybrid and electric models, and ongoing training to develop your diagnostic and mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
• Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles preferred.
• MOT tester qualification is advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle servicing and repairs to high standards.
• Perform diagnostics using advanced equipment on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Carry out vehicle inspections, including MOT testing (if qualified).
• Maintain accurate work records and ensure safety and environmental standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical advice to clients.
• Assist with general maintenance and electrical diagnostics as required.
