Salary: £40,404 basic | £45,000+ OTE
Were seeking a skilled and motivated Diagnostic Technician to join our clients Guildford team. Whether youre an experienced vehicle technician or newly qualified with a strong drive to develop, this opportunity is ideal for those who take pride in precision and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities for Vehicle Technician

  • Perform high-quality diagnostics and repairs with a focus on first-time fixes.
  • Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain open communication with workshop supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keep your work bay organised, clean, and compliant with safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training to sharpen technical knowledge and broaden your skillset.
  • If applicable: Conduct MOTs in line with DVSA standards.
Qualifications & Experience for Vehicle Technician
  • Essential: NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds).
