Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:00, Friday 08:00–15:00

About the Role

You'll play a key part in maintaining a fleet of minibuses and cars that help keep communities connected. From scheduled servicing to urgent repairs, your work will help ensure people get where they need to go – safely and reliably.

This is a hands-on, highly valued position with genuine purpose at its core.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain and repair a variety of fleet vehicles, primarily minibuses
2. Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and urgent repairs
3. Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and complete efficient repairs
4. Travel to attend breakdowns at other sites when required
5. Keep the workshop organised, safe, and compliant with regulations
6. Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and company policies to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

1. A recognised qualification in vehicle maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) or demonstrable industry experience
2. A full, clean UK driving licence (D or D1 licences desirable but not essential)
3. Confidence with diagnostics and hands-on repairs
4. Knowledge of workshop Health & Safety practices
5. Great attention to detail and pride in your work

Bonus if you have:

1. Apprenticeship in PSV Vehicle Repair
2. City & Guilds or equivalent BTEC / NVQ Level 3
3. Familiarity with Microsoft Office or vehicle systems software
