Job summary
South Central Fleet Services Ltd is looking for Fleet Engineers to join our team at our workshop in Didcot, maintaining vehicles for South Central Ambulance Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team ensuring ambulances are available to support patients. The workshop operates 7 days a week with shifts on a rotation basis.
Our fleet engineers play a vital role in supporting the ambulance service by maintaining and repairing specialist vehicles and equipment to high standards, ensuring maximum vehicle availability. The role involves working with a diverse range of vehicles and ancillary equipment such as tail-lifts, stretchers, air lines, and advanced electronic components.
South Central Fleet Services Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, responsible for vehicle delivery and maintenance for the trust.
