HiQ Tyres & Autocare is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a full-time permanent role in the UK. The position runs Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm with a half-day finish on Saturdays and a salary dependent on experience.

You will diagnose, service and repair vehicles to DVSA standards using dealer-level and general diagnostic equipment. Ideal candidates hold a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served), a full driving licence with up to 9 points, and proven experience

Qualificações

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering, air conditioning).

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain and repair vehicles to DVSA standards.
• Use dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment for timely repairs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance per manufacturer standards and schedules.
• Discuss repairs with customers and explain time/cost.
• Complete job cards and maintenance records to a high standard.
• Carry out additional duties to support store efficiency.
• Undertake administration duties and regular stock checks as required.
