Job summary
HiQ Tyres & Autocare in Stratford-upon-Avon is looking for a Vehicle Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will inspect, maintain and repair vehicles to DVSA standards, using dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment, with Monday–Friday hours and a half-day Saturday.
The position offers uncapped monthly bonuses, staff discounts on HiQ services, EV & Hybrid training, MOT testing license, and 28 days holiday.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license with few points.
- Experience in inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles to DVSA standards.
- Use dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment for time-efficient repairs.
- Perform repairs following manufacturer standards and schedules.
- Discuss required repairs with customers.
- Estimate time and cost for vehicle work.
- Maintain health and safety standards and company guidelines.
- Complete job cards and maintenance records to a high standard.
- Undertake additional duties for store efficiency.
- Carry out store administration duties.
- Assist with regular stock checks as per policy.
