Job summary

HiQ Tyres & Autocare is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The role runs Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with a half-day finish on Saturdays and a salary dependent on experience.

You will inspect, maintain and repair vehicles to DVSA standards, using diagnostic equipment to support time-efficient repairs. The role involves completing job cards and paperwork, with duties including stock checks and store administration as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver's licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus related repair work such as brakes, suspension and steering components, air conditioning service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair vehicles to DVSA standards.
• Use dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment to aid repairs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance per manufacturer standards and schedules.
• Discuss required repairs with customers.
• Estimate time and cost of work.
