HiQ Tyres & Autocare is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our Northampton team. The role is permanent and full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a half-day on Saturdays. Salary is dependent on experience.

You will inspect, maintain and repair vehicles to DVSA standards, use dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment, and perform repairs in line with manufacturer schedules. You will discuss repairs with customers and manage job cards and paperwork.

Qualificações

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver’s licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim and major services, plus repairs (brakes, suspension, air con, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain and repair vehicles to DVSA standards.
• Use diagnostic equipment to aid time-efficient repairs.
• Perform repairs following manufacturer standards and schedules.
• Discuss required repairs with customers.
• Estimate time and cost of work.
• Maintain health and safety standards and complete paperwork.
• Assist in stock checks and store operations.
