Lookers Land Rover Chelmsford is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join the workshop. You will perform vehicle health checks, services and repairs to high standards, reflecting the Lookers brand. You will report to the Aftersales Manager and benefit from manufacturer accredited training and progression opportunities.

You must have a full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). Prior experience as a mechanic is essential, with the ability to work to exacting standards and safely

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Carry out checks per manufacturers guidelines.
• Fit additional customer-requested accessories.
• Perform vehicle health checks and report further work.
• Check lights, tyre pressures, and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Complete minor repairs on vehicles.
• Diagnose basic mechanical/electrical faults.
• Service vehicles per manufacturer guidelines and customer requests.
• Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
