Listers MG in Solihull is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join the workshop team. The role covers servicing, repair and diagnostics across varied vehicles with a focus on quality and first-time fix rates.

Working hours are 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday, plus Saturdays on a rota. Basic salary up to £40,000 with bonus OTE up to £46,000 and benefits, with training to become MG Qualified Service or Master Technician.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive service/repair with mechanical and electrical skills.
• Full UK Driving licence required; EV/Hybrid knowledge advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Service, repair and diagnose vehicles to high standards first time.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, and AC.
• Work on EV/Hybrid systems using diagnostic equipment.
• Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• Complete service paperwork to brand standards.
• Collaborate with workshop team to share knowledge.
