Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Mansfield is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy, well-equipped workshop offering servicing across cars, vans and motorhomes.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment, carry out MOT-related repairs, and maintain high standards of workmanship and safety. Hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £34,000–£42,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Level 3 qualification preferred.
• Confident carrying out repairs independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out clutch, cambelt and brake repairs.
• Carrying out suspension and general mechanical work.
• Using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Completing MOT-related repairs.
• Working across various vehicle makes and models.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
