Job summary

Mr Clutch Autocentres Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join a friendly team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and servicing customer vehicles, with responsibilities to report defects and ensure work meets company standards.

Hours are 48 per week (8:30-17:30 Mon–Fri and 8:30-17:30 Sat). Own tools are required, but starter tool-kits can be provided. Excellent training, career progression, and a strong bonus scheme accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified or time served vehicle technician
• Current driving licence preferred for road testing
• Ability to diagnose faults and repair vehicles to company standards

Responsibilities

• Repair and service motor vehicles of all types to company standards in a safe, efficient manner
• Test and diagnose faults, provide written reports on defects or impending failures
• Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and specifications
• Test and diagnose faults and examine vehicles, reporting defects or impending failures
• Ensure all work is performed observing safe working practices
• Act as a brand ambassador for the company
