Job summary

Mr Clutch Autocentres in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our friendly team and help develop our branch. You will diagnose, repair and service customers’ vehicles to high standards and test faults, ensuring roadworthiness and safety.

Hours are full-time with a generous bonus scheme for productivity and efficiency, plus in-house training and career progression opportunities at our Strood/Reading academies. Own tools preferred, starter kit available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Technician with appropriate hands-on experience in motor industry.
• Time served in a vehicle technician role is preferred.
• Must ideally hold a current driving licence for road testing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to specification.
• Test and diagnose faults on vehicles to confirm root causes.
• Examine vehicles and provide written reports on defects or impending failures.
• Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices for self and others.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Mr Clutch Autocentres.
