Job summary

Perfect Placement are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable independent garage in Chichester, West Sussex. This role offers excellent career development prospects and a range of benefits for a motivated technician.

You will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, conduct MOT tests and servicing, replace components like clutches and timing belts, and work with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools such as Snap-on and Autel.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' trade experience post-qualification.
• Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles preferred.
• MOT testing certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues across all types of vehicles.
• Conducting MOT tests and vehicle servicing, including air conditioning systems.
• Replacing clutches, timing belts, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
• Using Snap-on and Autel scanners for accurate diagnostics.
• Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Maintaining thorough documentation and communication with clients regarding repairs and service requirements.
