Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team in the United Kingdom. You will carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to high standards, ensuring vehicle safety and efficient workshop operation.

Under supervision, you will diagnose faults, perform road tests and tyre work, while mentoring junior technicians and maintaining thorough documentation to meet quality and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential).
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
• Undertake tyre fitting and replacement duties across a range of vehicles.
• Perform road tests, ramp inspections and vehicle assessments.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out electrical diagnostics where necessary.
• Undertake warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Plan and organise workloads to meet deadlines while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Assist with general workshop duties to support smooth running of the department.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is completed accurately and procedures followed.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior technicians.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment.
