Vehicle Technician - Fleet Maintenance

Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician capable of carrying out fleet maintenance and repairs across a range of vehicles and equipment?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic team at a new workshop, maintaining and repairing vehicles essential for frontline crews to serve patients effectively. We are looking for individuals to provide a 7-day fleet and equipment maintenance service within the Wiltshire area, ensuring our vehicles remain in excellent condition and on the road.

The Vehicle Technician role at South Western Ambulance Service provides an opportunity to work within a friendly, professional team in a Fleet Workshop environment, ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. It also offers career development pathways within the Fleet and Equipment team or broader Trust roles, including patient-facing and support positions.

You will undertake service, maintenance, and repair activities on motor vehicles and equipment, adhering to scheduled times, accurately recording diagnosis, work completed, and components used, following Trust and manufacturer standards. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, working independently or as part of a team, always aligning with the Trust's values: One Team, Compassionate, Innovative.
