Job summary

Vertu BMW York is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair BMW vehicles to exacting standards. The role offers a basic salary up to £42,500 with an over‑performance bonus and a £4,000 sign‑on package, including £2,000 in the first month and £2,000 after 13 months of service.

Applicants should hold Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3, have proven technician experience, own tools, a full UK driving licence, and MOT licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 qualification.
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
MOT licence preferred but not essential.
Your own tools.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair BMW vehicles to brand standards.
Perform diagnostics and repairs to ensure first-time fixes.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
Adhere to safety and quality guidelines.
