Job summary

Holdcroft is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our Crewe workshop. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards, using the latest tools and manufacturer-led training we provide to develop your career.

You will diagnose faults, communicate with customers, work with the technical team to meet targets, keep a clean safe work environment and enjoy a competitive salary (£38,000–£40,000) plus progression benefits and a range of staff

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
Experienced working within a workshop environment.
Confident in diagnostic and mechanical repair work.
MOT Licence holder (preferred but not essential).
Hold a valid UK driving licence.
Able to work effectively towards both team and individual targets.

Responsibilities

Carry out general servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards.
Diagnose faults and complete accurate repair work efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed to a high level of quality and safety.
Liaise confidently with customers regarding technical issues when required.
Work collaboratively with the wider technical team to meet performance targets.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Follow all manufacturer and company procedures and guidelines.
