Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) in Guildford to perform high-quality maintenance and repairs, following manufacturer standards. You will inspect components for wear or damage and provide expert technical advice to customers, ensuring clear communication and top-tier service.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
Experienced Level 2 qualified technicians with a dealership background encouraged to apply.
Understanding of vehicle safety standards and guidelines.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs following manufacturer standards.
Conduct inspections of vehicle components to assess wear or damage.
Provide expert technical advice to customers with clear communication.
Maintain exceptional customer service standards and foster trust.
Collaborate with service reception and workshop control for smooth workflow.
