Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a busy Wilmslow workshop. You will service, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards in a modern dealership environment, with ongoing training and clear opportunities for progression.

You should have an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, at least two years post-qualification experience, a full UK driving licence, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Previous dealership experience is desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle health checks and inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately record work carried out and parts used.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop.
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality workmanship while helping to keep the workshop running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
