Vehicle Technician - German Vehicle Specialist in Wigan

• Basic Salary: Up to £33,280.00
• Working Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 with NO weekends
• Holidays: 28 days holidays including Bank Holidays (Closures between Christmas and New Year's)

Our client is a German vehicle specialist based in the Wigan area. They are currently looking to add an experienced vehicle technician to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on German vehicles and can perform a full range of tasks. A Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests and identify faults in vehicles
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs, including servicing, brakes, suspension, and engine work
• Complete work to a high standard and in a timely manner
• Use diagnostic equipment and computer systems for vehicle diagnostics
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma / City & Guilds in vehicle mechanics or proven equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a similar role
• IT literacy
• Full UK Clean Driving License (preferably clean)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components
• Ability to handle tools and heavy equipment
• Willingness to observe safety precautions
• Ability to work well within a team
