Job summary

A local family-run garage in Hay-on-Wye is seeking an experienced Automotive Vehicle Technician. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing various vehicles, including performing MOT tests and diagnostic testing. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification and possess their own tools. The position offers a salary of up to £42,500 with benefits including 28 days annual leave and potential for career progression.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a service centre located in Hay-on-Wye.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles

• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.

The salary of this role is up to £42,500 basic. Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
