Job summary

Recruitment Boutique is assisting a client in Wakefield to appoint a Qualified Vehicle Technician on a full-time, temporary contract. The role offers an hourly rate of £22.00 - £24.00 and a standard day from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with potential weekend work.

You will inspect vehicles, perform routine servicing, and carry out repairs to dealer standards while communicating across departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair required.
• Experience in an automotive workshop environment.

Your Role

As a Qualified Vehicle Technician, you will:

• Operate within a dealership environment, adapting to a fast-paced workshop setting

What We're Looking For

• Qualifications: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair (essential)


• Experience: Proven experience in an automotive workshop environment


• Licenses: A full driving license is essential; an MOT Licence is preferred but not mandatory


• Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (minimum of 8 hours a day)
