Job description

We are delighted to be working alongside our well-established, family-owned, expanding, and highly reputable automotive client who is seeking to recruit an additional Vehicle Technician to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Vehicle Technician

Full-time, permanent role

Monday - Friday (Apply online only) plus 1 Saturday morning (Apply online only every 3 weeks)

Location: Henfield area. Plenty of free parking on site. Due to the rural workplace location, a full UK driving license and your own vehicle are required.

Salary: GBP 38,000 - GBP 40,000 per year plus excellent company benefits, including a heated workshop during winter.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • High level of diagnostic capabilities required.
  • Must have IMI Level 3 or 4 and above, or equivalent.
  • Interest in Hybrid and Electric vehicles is advantageous.
  • Use of oscilloscope, Autologic/Bosch, and other diagnostic equipment; MOT license is a plus.
  • Work in small teams supported by admin, up-to-date IT and diagnostic systems, modern well-maintained equipment, in a clean and safe environment.
Skills, Competencies, and Experience:
  • Ability to independently diagnose engine/electrical faults and rectify them.
  • Carry out repairs, including replacement of specific modules/ECUs and associated programming.
  • Perform general servicing and maintenance such as brakes, tires, shock absorbers, etc.
