A leading dealership in the Thetford area seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. This role demands high standards of professionalism and provides an opportunity to grow with further qualifications in electric vehicles and diagnostics. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 NVQ, diagnostic skills, and a full UK driving license, ensuring top-quality service in a busy workshop environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • MOT Tester license preferred.
  • Responsible for the quality of work.

We are currently working with a fantastic dealership in the Thetford area who are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician who must have level 3 NVQ or equivalent and a full UK driving license. Diagnostic experience and MOT tester accreditation are an advantage.

As a member of the team, you’ll maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity and deliver excellent customer service.

As a Technician in a busy Dealership in Thetford, you’ll work with our workshop and front-of-house team to service and repair customer vehicles.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within scheduled times to meet company and franchise standards.
  2. Repair, test vehicles, and diagnose faults as required by the Service Manager and supervisory staff.
  3. Replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables and record usage.
  4. Keep work areas clean, tidy, organized, and safe from hazards to health and safety.
  5. Carry out work completely and effectively within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times.
  6. Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on vehicles, including future servicing/repair needs.

The ideal candidate will:

  1. Have experience working in a Franchise Dealership (or similar).
  2. MOT Tester license is an advantage.
  3. Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work.
  4. Hold a full UK driving license.

Salary: £30k basic, increasing with further EV, Diagnostic, or Master qualifications.

Working pattern: Mon-Fri 8:00-17:00.
