Job description
Overview

Vehicle Technician – Location: Cheltenham. Salary: £30,000 - £33,500 basic, £37,700 OTE (Uncapped). Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours with Saturdays on rota with full days back in the week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our client’s workshop in Cheltenham.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Qualifications
  • Level 3 Light Vehicle maintenance is preferred but not essential
  • Level 2 is acceptable if you are time served with at least a few years of full-time experience
  • Applicants must have a full UK driving license
