An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a Family Run Franchised Car Dealership located in Sidcup.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Working efficiently to ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired on time
• Performing a variety of mechanical tasks including engine diagnostics, electrical systems, and brakes
• Liaising with Service Advisors and customers to provide detailed updates on work completed and any additional requirements
• Keeping up to date with the latest technical developments and manufacturer updates

Requirements

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a franchised dealership or independent garage
• A strong understanding of diagnostics, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to delivering top-quality work

Salary: up to £30,000 - £35,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.

Hours: 8am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday, with Saturdays on a rotational basis.
