Vehicle Technician – £40–£45K | No Weekends | Friendly Family-Run Garage

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 basic (no bonus schemes – just a solid, honest wage)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
Holidays: 22 days + Bank Holidays
Team Size: 7 technicians in the workshop
Location: Sevenoaks

My client is hiring a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a close-knit, friendly team at a long-standing, family-run garage where your skills are respected — not upsold.

Whether you're a qualified mechanic, vehicle technician, or just passionate about vehicle servicing, cam belts, clutches, and general mechanical repairs — this could be your perfect next step. Diagnostic skills and MOT certification are a bonus but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Handling all types of mechanical vehicle repairs, including servicing, cam belts, clutches, and general maintenance
• Working in a clean, modern, well-equipped workshop with a supportive, friendly crew
• Optionally assisting with vehicle diagnostics, MOT testing, and fault-finding if qualified

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in mechanical vehicle repair (Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Confident working independently on mechanical jobs, repairs, and servicing
• MOT card and diagnostic skills are desirable but not essential
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude and good sense of humour
